The Green Prix will be an innovative venue for artists to produce and showcase projects that celebrate and challenge notions around sustainable locomotion. It is a parade, a festival, and a participatory community event that contributes to the “Build Your Own World” theme of the 01SJ Biennial by celebrating creative, sustainable, ecologically friendly, and fun modes of transportation—artful “eco-motion.”

ZER01 is inviting artists and artist teams to apply for a micro-grant towards the creation of a project that will participate in the Green Prix during the 2010 01SJ Biennial. Prior to submitting your application, please read the full Open Call and the overview of the Green Prix.

Uploads

  1. Plesae Upload all text files as PDF files, using a naming convention of LASTNAME_concept(etc).pdf. 2mb limit per file.

  2. 2 page conceptual proposal, which should include project title, description, technical parameters and number of participants.

  4. Proposed Budget: please include general details of how the grant will be applied toward the project, whether it is for materials, travel, artist fees, etc. Include brief details of any confirmed or likely additional funding, if costs exceed the micro-grant funding.

  10. A PDF containing a list of links to past work related to your proposal and links to examples if you are proposing existing work. Please include a one line description of each project and link to graphics and media rather than embedding
