Happy New Year from the ZERO1 Garage!

Happy New Year from the ZERO1 Garage!

Happy 2013 everyone! Hope the holidays were filled with much joy and relaxation for all of you. December was a bittersweet month as we officially concluded the 2012 ZERO1 Biennial and moved out of our offices across from St. James Square. However, we’re so excited to be in the ZERO1 Garage! One of the great things about the ZERO1 Garage is the versatility of this space! It will host our year-round exhibitions, future Biennials, our Fellowship program and can even be utilized for events such as staff retreats, team-building workshops, seminars, holiday parties, and possibly even what could be the edgiest wedding in town!

Just before the holidays, the American Leadership Forum- Silicon Valley (ALF) hosted their 2012 holiday party at the ZERO1 Garage, infusing the space with a great group of people and celebrating the holiday season! For those of you unfamiliar with ALF, it is a network of regional leaders focused in serving the common good in Silicon Valley. Led by Chief Executive Officer Chris Block, ALF is dedicated to building a better Silicon Valley through bringing together leaders who are committed to building a strong community; developing collaborative leadership skills to identify and deal with complex issues; and providing opportunities to work together in impactful ways. They are an amazing group. To learn more check them out at www.alfsv.org.

As we settle in nicely into the ZERO1 Garage, we’ve lined up lots of exciting programming for 2013. Earlier this week we sent out a Save the Date for our “Meet the ZERO1 Fellows” event officially launching of the ZERO1 Fellowship Program on January 23rd. It will also be the opening of iLounge: instant/interim/interactive by Mona El-Khafif, Marcella Del Signore, and CCA URBANlab, featuring an interactive project by Mark Campos. Come out and see what is going on at the ZERO1 Garage!

The ZERO1 Garage is located at 439 S. 1st Street, San Jose, CA. We are open Wednesday-Saturday 12:00pm-4:00pm.
