Sin Violencias Virtual Exchange

Sin Violencias is a week-long creative exchange and laboratory exploring visual art, new media, and activism centered on gender-based violence taking place online between November 25 and December 2, 2020, aligning with the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

Sin Violencias explores new methodologies in storytelling and emerging media that can be deployed in campaigns to end gender-based violence. The exchange involves daily presentations, discussions and creative workshops, culminating in a public online event that includes a panel about the future of art and activism, and a presentation of project ideas that have emerged during the Lab. The goals of the Lab are to facilitate mutual understanding and creative collaboration between U.S. artists and Colombian artists and activists in Bogota.
